I am looking at some kenwwod decks and i was wondering what some of you thouhgt about some of them. I think that they are pretty good **** decks for the price. I was wondeirng what models that you thought were the best and what ones i should look at a little more.

I have a kenwood x 789 that I won in a reffel on this site and I love it . Afriend of mine seen my kenwood and bought the 889 . They are also fairly inexpensive compared to other brand decks with similar functions . You can't go wrong.

I never gave Kenwood the time of day now,

I think Excelons kick ***,the thing is easy to use and puts out awsome

Kenwood has two separate lines of head units. There's the regular Kenwood (sold at Best Buy and elsewhere) and then there is Kenwood's more upscale gear, the eXcelon line. The latter is their better offerings by far. Better built, better equipped (more features), and better backed (longer warranty)

As for specific recommendations go...like any other category of audio equipment the varying amount of features from one deck to the next can be pretty expansive and I don't know specifically what you need a HU to do for you. But ~ if you like the look/operation/pricing on a Kenwood HU look to the eXcelon stuff and I would suggest you'll be pleased with what ya find.
