keepin amp from vibrations

i want to mount my amp to the box i have but never done any of my amps in fear that it would ruin them... i have barly any room as it is and really need to mount the amp to the box cuz thats the only place i have that i can. what are sum things i can do to make this so the amp dosent take much shock. rubber gromets, sound deadner on a sepreate peice of mdf thats gonna be mounted to the box....can i get sum sugestions

Get you some rubber rings, I cant think of the exact name right name, from like a hardware store. (Lowes, Home Depot, etc) and just mount it on to there to ease up on the vibrations. But I had a Kenwood 7102 going straight to the box for more than a year no problems.

My main thing is, if it cant take vibrations. Its a sucky amp.

I have been running a box-mounted amp for going on 2 years now, no problems whatsoever. I believe the OP is talking about grommets, but I have seen no reason so far.
