Haha, I'm betting that your current box is a prefab. Get a custom one and decent electrical and you should be more than happy.

it was custom built. my battery is brand new just put it in last nite. brand new alternator going in tomorrow morn. courtesy of my bro.

i know a lot of people around here don't like the new RE stuff, but i've heard all the systems at the shop i go to, and i seriously like the sound. its personal pref i guess. what i don't like is the price. lol

You like the sound because that's the best you've heard. Once you hear more quality and properly installed ( I don't mean shops) you will open up a bit more on choices.
