why recommend a new headunit...he doesnt even have the rcas hooked up to the jvc yet, just a LOC. Hook those rcas up and run them on the opposite side of the power. IF that doesnt fix it, look into a new headunit. dont go buy something u forsure dont need, just yet at least.

learn to read before speaking on something

cheap pos h/u has 1 preout

he need 3, 1 4chnnl amp and one sub amp

he would be using a loc no matter what

some floors are noisier than others. Start by using shielded RCAs, Im not convinced the KNu cables are shielded. cause when I took mine apart it didnt look like the shield was grounded at all, also the connectors just plain ****..sorry to say it so bluntly.

Just make your own cables.

I read on this forum that you should run ur power cables on the opposite side of the vehicle from your rcas. Maybe thats is causing the whine?
