i'm not feelin his album...... i guess ever since he said "you can't mention music w/o saying my name" i can't respect him esp when he's only apart of pie but hasn't even touched all areas....

can he even play the sax, drums, etc.?

IMO College Dropout was better than Late Registration. Late Registration isn't bad but on his first album I could listen to it all the way through, I find myself skipping songs on this new album.

he's alright in offering new types of stuff... he doesn't rap about all the same old stuff but his new CD just isn't too good. There's a few good songs... same with his last CD. He's nothing amazing but he's not horrible either.

he is a great producer he will go down in history as greater then dj premier, the rza and such its just hard to actually watch history in the making if you love to hold on to the previous greats

lil jon, kanye, dj juicy j,jus blaze,dr dre,havoc these are all of the greats of today 10 years from now we will still be listening to there stuff they came out with this year i still put in my 36 chamber wu album

its just kanye time and you will have to put this sh!t in a capsull cus he is here for the long haul

honorable mention to dj manny fresh kany and manny are the most musical out of the list

amazing no a breath of fresh air he is not redundant, as you will notice the most original creative producers go down in history

dj premier gets a pass on this 1 he is so repetitive but i never heard a sound like his before he came

I agree it seems very hard to repeat your freshman classic

Album #2 is well always #2 in most cases

yo kanye is too played out...he's good though...but i think he's too cocky thats why im not into him that much nemore...premier is probably one of the greatest but the last couple of years...kinda downhill..its true..lately he's been repetitive..

u guys should check out 9th wonder...producer for a group little brother...good stuff

Is he just full of his d@mn self? He looks like a fvcking chipmunk and dresses like some preppy boy from the east coast with a stick up his ***. I never knew he said this. Then add the comment about George Bush and the incident with Gretchen Wilson. Someone tell him to STFU. I liked college dropout wayyyy better. I can mention music without saying his name. He has been out like what 2 or 3 years and expects everyone to be on his nuts? When people are stilling listening to his music like people still listen to the Beatles music....THEN I will say he is one of the greatest ever.

theres always discussion about premier being the goat, i dont feel it but thats the argument. at some point and time it will not be arguements they will say kanye is the Goat hands down discussion

I got threw arguin with a guy that thinks kanye west is better then the Rza

The Rza in my opion is the best producer of all times.he produced to many classic albums to name

He saying kanye is better then the rza is like saying big is better then 2pac.

2pac had 4 CLASSICS IN A ROW big droped 2 albums 1 is classic the other is soso

its just to soon to say hes the best right now but if he keeps putting this much energy to his music he will be there,

point is he dont need to die 1st to get his recognition
