Glad some people are finally realizing what an idiot this dude is. I don't mind some of his songs, nothing I would DL myself but I let some of them ride when they come on the radio but the pure amount of stupid dumbshit has said should have turned people off long before this.

Besides "stronger" and "gold digger" I really never liked his s**t. Not a huge rap fan anyway, but I love Pharcyde, Eric B & Rakim, Eminem, and Outkast. I was told that I would LOVE Kanye West.

Too funny. he's suffering from Chappelle's syndrome. It was all fun and games till he got the public's ear. White people have bought in and then labeled him stuff like "controversal" As long as they don't take Nas, Common, Scarface, and the classic rap artists, it's ok. You can have Will Smith, Snoop, Eminem and the comercial artists like them. I don't go to concerts but I like the music Kanye makes. He produced his, Common's and John Legend's album all in one year. All grammy nominated, but the people that produced Ray Charles last album won producer of the year that year.....lol. Nobody in the hood I know heard How to dismantle an atomic bomb, but dude I quoted heard of Kanye West.

 

I liked dude cause he from here and he was putting out quality music. Rebel Dogg needs to stop listening to Kiss FM and dive more into his overall body of work. He has the production talents of a Quincy Jones or Rick Rubin, but as far as rap goes, he is still confused.

 

You mentioned you liked Kast. Hopefully you talking about the first 2 albums Southernplayalisticcadillacmusic and ATLiens.

 

For him to be late though was not cool, but shit happens. they still got their money's worth.

 

 

And for all of you that only like the radio cuts, buy the **** albums or download some shit other than what's on the radio. Find "Gone" or 'We Major", or some of the shit that didn't come out like Soulful. Or listen to Jay Z songs Lucifer, Encore, or Song Cry.

I guess you missed the part where I said I don't really like rap anyway... I've only got 1 Outkast album. Don't know the title. It has "Bombs Over Bahgdad." Everything else I heard through a friends CD's. Yes, I know black people.

I don't know what Kiss FM is.

I've got no interest in delving into his body of work. There are very few rappers who impress me. It's an okay for of music for those who like it. I've been a professional musician for many years and honestly a lot of new music (rock too, not just rap) hurts my ears.

I bought one of Kanye's albums. "Late Registration" I do not like it at all. I heard other stuff through YouTube. Still not impressed. As far as rap goes, Pharcyde, Eric B., and Eminem are the only ones to impress me at all.

it's funny how up in arms people get when someone dislikes music they like.... People will like what they like...

When it comes to Kanye though he seems to be your average "entertainer" class douche... I have to laugh when he says George bush hates black people on national live television. I wonder about his intelligence when he puts things like the government making AIDS to kill black people into his songs. When he makes fans wait with no explination you have to wonder if he's getting full of himself....

Really sounds like he's a run of the mill "I'm better than you" type just because he can sell a few albums. Personally I find entertainers to be rather silly and quite pathetic in the grand scheme of things.
