Few things came in today, unfortunately I had to send the pathy back to the shop to get it fixed up once again to get rid of the check engine. Hopefully this is the last time it has to see the mechanic.

Anyways, I got 17' of some Cadence 1/0 in blue. This stuff is crazy flexible and is true wire.

Up against some Knu 4g:

Also got 2 of these ******* distro blocks

Last but not least, got a soundstream decal for the rear windshield. Yes, I know it's curling, it's because it's so cold in my room and the moisture change does that. It's in a warm place right now squished between 2 books so it stays flat.

For now the amps will just be tucked between the rear seat and the box. I'm planning on making a nice amp rack for my setup when I get both subs but that is going to be a while. I won't have a spot to show off the amps if I wanted to anyways, and I'm not mounting them to the box cause the rubicons are sensitive to vibrations.

:O rubs are sensitive to vibrations? i just got a rub1600 and i was going to run about 1000RMS through my sub, i planned to mount it to the back of the box :S bad idea?

The 2500D is coming in next tuesday (27th). I wanted it to come in this week but apparently onlinecarstereo.com's free shipping is like an 8 day thing so that kinda *****, whatever lol. Remote starter is coming in tomorrow, I'll be installing it Thursday most likely

The amps are inexpensive and are tanks...plus Soundstream is the big thing up here (take EXO for example) and I figured why the hell not? lol. I was considering running DC amps but after looking at the prices they were just crazy. Amp is never gonna see below 1 ohm anyways

Rubi comes in tomorrow, gonna install that and get a vid up. I am curious to see how much I can push it before my voltage starts going too low. Also ordering another Datasafe battery from Ryan tomorrow and possibly a third as well. The pathfinder is in the middle of a remote starter installation so sorry in advance for how messy everything is lol

Lulz Luke was supposed to come over but he said he wasn't feeling good so w/e. But yeah the amp is installed and running with 0 issues. I expected it to be a tid bit louder but I may have some more tweaking to do before I am satisfied with it. Anything that's like 33-36 is really loud...my frequency response is kinda weird. I peak around 35, ~42hz is meh but then it picks up again around 50, which I'm guessing is what my cabin gain is at. Hopefully after I take the time to brace everything and put some deadener in there that will help smooth it out. I'm no SQ freak but smoothing out the sub response is a big thing I wanna do.

My biggest worry would be that my voltage would drop hard when I put the amp in...running at 1 ohm on a stock 90a with my only electrical upgrades being the big 3 and a batcap2k under the hood. Oddly enough my voltage barely budges at idle, it only starts to really drop if the note is below 30hz in which case if I rev the engine it goes back up to 13.6 - 13.8.

I'll get pics and a video up tomorrow unless something comes up.
