KAC-9152D not turning on

Hey people,

I just got hold of a used KAC-9152D and hooked it up... nothing.

I used the same ground I just used for my previous amp, 4ga 18" long to bolt that holds the seat down (paint removed ect).

the power is 4ga and fuses are fine, it measures 12.8v engine off and over 14 ish running, remote measures 12.8v and a bit more when running.

I hooked the ground scres near the RCA input to the same main ground.

I don't get the light on at all, and obviously no sound.

only other thing I'm unsure about is the speaker terminals.

they are + + - -

acording to the manual the first + (from left to right) and the first - are the terminals to use.

What else can I try ?

Or is this unit just a brick...

i had problem with kenwood amp not turning on. as well. piece of shit. haha

just checked the ground circuit, 1.1 Ohm resistancebetween battery and the amp terminal, seems fine to me?

I had to repair a fried trace on an x811d thats a class d though but check out the internals would be the next thing i would try

I opened the case as could see nothing burned but I didn't want to mess too much.

Seller has agreed to take it back.

Guess we're just both out the postage.

Hope he can fix it.
