So, I've had this deck for a few years, and it's served me well. Recently, I decided to put a bunch of media files on an SD card. Long story short, no matter the file system, the device (SD or USB) or the file type, I can't get this thing to play an MP4, MKV, AVI, etc. In fact, on the SD card or USB, I get MP3 ONLY, nothing else. Note: I do get video from the DVD drive, just not the others. I'd give you more info,l but that's pretty much the gist of it. I've spent days formatting these things, and all I get when I put them in is an immediate "error". Then it scrolls through all of the diff. files and says error to all. But when I put a bunch of different files on one, when it gets to the MP3, it plays fine. then errors through everything else. BTW, according to the manual, all of these file types should play video. None do. I am told FAT32 is the way to go, but that makes no difference either. I ave used several flash drives, and several differing SD cards of varying sizes.
I'm stumped!
