JVC KW-AV70BT turns on intermmitently and then shuts down

Hi Guys:

New to this forum so hello everyone! need some help. I have OEM JVC KW-AV70BT installed in my Toyota Hilux. System came OEM with vehicle and is about 1.5 years old and not covered in warranty anymore. It worked perfectly until a few days ago when the screen simply freezes when the system comes on and displays the JVC logo, then the screen and remote are unresponsive until the unit goes blank. It will then come on and turn off intermittently. Tried the reset as suggested in the user manual but no use. Also checked the fuses and even disconnected and reconnected the truck battery but was unable to resolve the issue. Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated. System is barely used as I have only a few thousand kilometers on the clock.
