it depends on what your looking for. Both are Great units on paper.

well i dont really need the bluetooth on the 900 but what else is the difference between them.

The 794 is a good unit. for the extra cash though i'd get the 994, and get the full color set up. I ran the 794 for about a week and loved it, i just prefer more color and display options.

I too like more color options with the r900, but the ipod interface seems to be easier with the on the x794.

the kenwood screen seems nicer than the jvc but i have had a jvc before and I loved it. as far as the difference in the 794 and the 994 is the bluetooth and the ability to change it a few colors. im not really interested in the blue tooth so much. is there a pioneer unit that will compare with these two

ive ran jvc in the past with good results. i personally want the kenwood 794, just dont have the money. Plus its just a great looking unit...

I believe I am going with the x994 for my Tacoma, but its a little pricey but I must have the ability to change the color on the HU. I mite get the x794 for my s2000.

alright here is another thing i would like to no about, could people who have used either of these units tell me how well the usb works. I have read many reviews on how great ipod controls are but i dont not have an ipod nor do i plan on ever owning one, i will be using a thumb drive. so does anyone have any experience with using a thumb drive on these units?
