JVC KD LH3100 Vs. Eclipse deck

Ive been looking at Decks for my car...i already have one but im lookin to get rid of it...should i get the JVC KD Lh3100..its around 350 in regular stores and i think 250 online...or an eclipse deck..i dont know the type..all i know it just came out i think and stores sell them for around 289$...now the JVC is more expensive but i hear eclipse are better...now im not spendin over 300 so which one would be better to go with..i no som1 nos the eclipse deck im talkin bout...thanx

eclipse is way better than JVC. JVC is a bang for your buck brand. But esclpise has way better SQ and there RCA are better and cleaner. I could find out what model ecplise u are talkin about but I do not have my books here.

then y is the JVC more than the eclipse i wanna get...bc of its graphics...i only have two alpine type R 12s with a Tsunami 1100db amp...would it really matter if i got the JVC its not like i have a system that would go to competitons or should i jus get the Eclipse?

I had the top model JVC deck from last year and thought it was a very solid deck. There a lot of good things said about Eclipse, I just didn't have a good experience with them personally.

The JVC could be more $$$ because it has more features, screensavers, etc...who knows. If you think something is fishy in the pricing, go check out both decks, listen to them, and see what you think. I assume the eclipse you are talking about is the 5423(it retails for $289). It doesn't have mp3 capability(the 3403 and 3413, both cheaper, do though), but it has 5 volt/55 ohm impedance pre outs, and it is a VERY nice sounding deck. Hell, an alpine 7998 retails for $800, but I certainly wouldn't take it over my Eclipse which retails for $549. The 7998 has the oversized face, etc. Those types of things can increase the price on a deck yet offer zero improvement to the deck's sound. That is just an example of how a deck can cost more than another and where that extra $$ can go.

the esclipse i just a better sounding deck it u want looks over performance then go woth the JVC. I did I took the Panasonic 602 over and alpine and esclipse deck. Peolple love the look of the deck and so do i but the RCAs are not powerful enough. SO now i must buy RCA booster to up the RCA volts so i can get a better sound out of the deck. But it is what ever u want to do.
