Ok, now that I got that out of the way. I was able to pickup that JVC CD/MP3 changer (and a KD-SH8350) for $45. The head unit is nice, but I wanted something with a wee bit more. So, I found the A925BT. Seems pretty nice.
One issue. I see it has the J-bus connector on the rear of it, but nowhere in the manual, or talking to JVC, or
Crutchfield, have I found any info on whether or not it actually will work. I'm getting the cold fuzzies that they removed firmware support for CD changers, and left the connector on the unit to hook up HD/Sat/MP3 units.
Does anyone have this head unit, or know anyone that might have hooked a changer to it?
Thanks for any info, trying to make a purchase within the next 24 hours. Looking forward to adding to this forum, I've been into car audio since 1992.
