So to start things off I have had this HU (jvc KD-a625) for about 9 months now and It worked great until about a month ago. when I had to jump start my car due to leaving the lights on, my bad.
the HU would not start up after that so I sent it in for warranty work. well I got the radio back, and now it will only power on in the ignition mod, then after I start the car it will not work at all even in ignition mod. but if I install the radio after the car is running it will work fine, until I shut the car off then I get nothing, unless I remove the radio and re-install it after 5 min.
other HU's work fine, I installed my old one and it works great.
Also I get 12.5v with the car off. and an even 14v with the car running. and there is NO voltage spike while starting the car only the 14v
any ideas of what could be causing my problems?
