Hey all,
I have a JVC KW-AVX740, which came with the car I bought a year ago. It's not the greatest, but it's better than what I had before, and suits my needs.
I recently hooked up a backup camera, and it's working as it should. I also tried doing a parking brake bypass to allow for DVD viewing while moving (kids). I simply grounded the parking brake line to a spot on the car. The DVD will begin to play, but will only do so for about 10 seconds, then it goes to a "blank" screen (I put that in quotations because it still shows the time and wallpaper). Audio continues to play, and if I touch the screen again, the video comes back, for another 10 seconds. Anyone have an idea as to what the problem is? Thanks!
