Is there no other way to connect an amp and subwoofer to the mach 460 sound system other than running a line out converter? My friends mustang had his installed just by splicing into the actual speaker wires in the back and running them to the amplifier. The subwoofers hit much harder and nicer than my crossover and same sub/amp setup, which I have had properly adjusted btw. I hate how my sub hits and I want to know if there is anything I can do to make mine sound better like his does. I'm real sketchy on how he connected his amp, which is why I'm trying to figure out if that will actually work or not, or will it just mess up my system? Until I get an answer, I'm not going to do anything with it. Hope to hear back from some of you soon, thanks for all your help.

I took it all out and put new in.

If not your gonna go amp powering amp and thats not good and will sound like ***.
