Have they determined if its malignant or benign yet?Hope he makes it through okay. Is he fairly healthy? Alot of times that will help in a recovery. My mom had hep c (a nurse trainee turned around and stuck her with a dirty needle) and after 6 years of treatment, she no longer shows any signs of it. The docs said her physical fitness had as much to do with it as the drugs for treatment.

Research the diseases, more and more treatments are being proven to work. Best of luck to both your father, and your family.

nothing yet....he goes in for a biopsy soon....should know more once we get those results in........and his health isnt all that great.....he was also recently diagnosed w/ diabetes as well....he's down to 127lbs......normally he's around 190 - 220 lbs.......its hard to see him like this.....

Seriously convince him to explore all the options. Explore every option you can. Above all else, make the most of your time with him. If things go well, and he beats it, youll have a better relationship with your dad. If for some reason things dont go well, youll have nice memories to hold on to. Keep us updated, we are all hoping for the best.

i feel for ya buddy.
a good friend of mine - in his mid 70's just got diagnosed with colon cancer. they believe its far along too. cliff is a great guy, and i hope nothing happens to him or your father.

really sorry to hear about all this too. ive gone through some low times im my life. i always told my self that the highs will make up for the lows. just when you think life cant get any lower, something makes up for it all, you just have to be positive. i was to the point were i just thought it was funny when really f**ked up **** happened to me and i really didnt care. i was really starting to hate life! then this lady at my work gave me my dog and shortly after i meet my girlfriend. you never know what will happen to you to bring you back up. if your patient and positive, something good is going to happen. its best when you have some kind of goal in life and try not to self medicate with drugs and alcohol and just wait for the highs to come. trust me, if you positive and clear headed then good things will eventually happen. hey you got to keep ya head up - 2pac

condolences man. i lost my grandpa (70 something yrs old) a year ago and my auntie (20 something) from lung and liver cancer. getting Chemotherapy made my grandpas disease even worse //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

and i was wrong...things can get worse......

i almost got arrested last night......aparantly i forgot to pay for a ticket i got a while back and my lisense is suspended and i have a warrant out for me.........well i got pulled over.....officer told me i have a warrant......then this guy comes flying around the corner and takes out like 3 signs.....officer tells me to stay there gets out and chases the guy down..........so the officer says he's jus gonna give me a ticket and arrest the other guy...takes my lisense and impounds my truck.......so now im without a truck till i can pay like 150 or so to get it out of impound
