If I were to take out the 61/2s from my rear deck in my sentra and cut the circles out from the rear deck cover, so the air from the trunk could enter the cabin of my car easily, would it help with the nasty trunk rattle? bout to buy sound deadening later on when funds get right.

That will help air flow... and allow the air some where to flow. Now the trunk may rattle... but this will help eliminate ALOT of it... im going to do that prolly today.

It will be a bunch louder which is good. I did the same in my car and it really helped with the bass coming through. Rattles need to be worked on slowly with a good bass cd with test tones.

naahhh i got 3.5''s runnin off my hu and took the first aid kit off of my rear deck to port the bass into the cabin. can hear them perfectly fine, except when the bass line goes nuts then i have a hard time hearin the music. other than that ittle be alright
