Just swapped out my 880PRS for a 9887

The sub out was shot on my 880 so I found a good deal on a 9887 and decided to give it a try. I still have a hell of a lot of tuning to do but got it to the point where it sounds decent. First thing I noticed was the high speed ipod cable is sooo much faster than the pioneers. My highs seemed much "brighter" with the 880 but everything seems to blend better with the 9887. Anyone know why I can't control the basic bass/treble settings that according to the manual can be adjusted by pressing the volume knob?

You need the imprint kit to unlock those settings. Until then - just adjust them via the EQ.

Did u have the processing turned on with the 880?
