In the term "soda pop," soda is the adjective and pop is the noun. As one might assume, this means pop is correct if you're using the short form as soda is not a true noun.

Saw this movie today with some friends. I wasn't very impressed by it . It was ok reminded me alot like resident evil except for the ending of course i think they could of done alot better with that movie though.
