anything that young kids are into...they love the beach, amusement/theme parks, the zoo....i golf

Cool. Myrtle Beach has some awesome golf. The Hard Rock park seems fun, but is pretty expensive.

Where did you go in Texas? I read zoo and Galleria and instantly thought of Dallas.

Yeah, north Texas is FTL. The hill country in central Texas (Austin), the trees and lakes out in east, and the beaches from Port Aransas south are all FTMFW.

and i will never let my wife talk me into going to texas as our primary vacation .... maybe as a second vacation for the year but never as the only vacation we take that year.
All i really got out of it was sweating and a severe sunburn. I went to the zoo, Nasa, and the museum of natural science, the aquarium, the galleria and a couple other other spots. Spent an assload of money and drove 3000 miles round trip.....weaksauce IMHO

did you tell her you coulda saved money and done all that here in cleveland? haha and probably avoided the sunburn as its already fall here FTL!

whered you go in ohio that made you feel so ill about it? id honestly rather live in ohio than most places and ive traveled most of the US...

**** yeah, austin rocks hardcore, I'm sad to be leaving it in 3 days...

Houston is alright but it's not fun, downtown austin and the nightlife is crazy intense... austin and west of is very hilly and beautiful country... the driving and joyriding in austin is legendary andit's a very beautiful place to drive through/in/around... come back, but come back to austin, san antonio, or port aransas, that's where it's at here in texas... houston may be the biggest city here but it's not the best, and there is a reason austin is the capitol... well it's the capitol because it's in the center of the state... but it's still the coolest city in TX

Houston is the cess pool of Texas, no way in any shape or form should anyone plan a vacation there unless they are interested in smog sighting.
