Just ordered my eD 15" and new amp!

Just ordered the package deal, the eD15A.22 and 800.2 amp. Hope this works out. Will be selling my twin 10" L7's to one of my boys who really wants them.

I guess I don't have to use the amp then. I got it because it was a decent deal. I already have a 1000wrms Precision Power amp. I figured I could use the amp for highs when I get my new vehicle if nothing else. I didn't realize it didn't have a SSF. Thanks for the heads up.

I'll let you guys know how it turns out then. I'll have to find some sound deadening now.

the 15 a should do just as good as a 15 inch xxx would have and is a lil cheaper, i think the A will sound better than the xxx, but the xxx might get a tad louder but not muchm but good choice i wish i had a pair of them

the xxx will rip that 15a a new one. Abcdefg is vey biased towards elemental designs.

the A will sound tons better, and the XXX will get a fair bit louder... its a trade off...

if you tune your box low enough, it should be fine. If it's low 30's with no SSF, you *should* be fine, just watch it xmax for a bit and see how it works...i've been told this by lloyd and others... im not gonna be running an ssf on my eDk12 ported @ 31hZ... hopefully i'll be fine

on the eD site the recommend box is 2.2 cubes i plan on getting a 15A and building the box off the site. would i get better results out of 2.5 cube box or bigger?

has anyone yet to find a SSF that is not an FMOD? those are worthless and dont work. since there are X/Os that you can buy i am hoping there are SSFs too.....

You'll probably notice a little more output from 2.5 cubes...
Their box recommendations on their site are good though, so either way you would be good...
