yes, unless you adjust your gain properly, you could pretty much put a 4000 watt amp on one 1000 watt sub and not blow it as long as you dont overdo the gain

you will be lucky to get close to 125dB's

considering my 12" memphis PR 12s in a sealed box with 2 680 watt dual amps, all stock with 4 gauge in a honda accord hit a 137.9, I would have to say hes hitting better then a 125. that was a while ago but still. there is a lot to it though

start with the gain all the way down. crank up the volume on your head unit the loudest it will get without distorting your highs,keep it there, then start playing with your gain. good luck bro

well, considering i am a former installer and had been involved with audio comps between '99-2007. Your system sounds like it would do 130 at best. you have no clue what you are talking about and with your limited knowledge you will play yourself out very soon.
