Just missed a Tornado today.

I was driving home on I-95 a little ways North of West Palm Beach and some guy called on the radio saying there was a funnel cloud coming down over near 95. I looked in my rear view mirror and sure enough. I don't think that particular one made it all the way down, but it was close. So anyhow they had a few tornados in that area today. Good thing traffic wasn't as bad as it was the day before.

there was a gang of them here today to.. they cut a path half way across the state.. did damage like 30 miles form me.. but shit it didnt even rain here..and since no one lives here not much damage.. few farms and cows killed.

They are realy not all that cool. I had an F5 on the ground untill about 200yds from my house, then jumped over our community, ripped our roofover off of our house, and then it touched back doen on the other side, and kept going. The whole community was truly blessed. it wouldve killed everyone had it not jumped.

BTW, I was in said house when this happened. not cool at all.

On the katrina subject I was in New Orleans Last week....Its still horribl. Bourbon St. still looks the same, but of course it was dirty and nasty before Katrina. But The outer towns such as Metarie, Kenner, and Chalmette are still pretty rough. and The Ninth ward is like a Mix between a ghost town and a sess pool.
