just got some free wire... a bunch of it

got it from a buddy of mine, said his employer (industrial contractor) was just throwing it away

he says it was used as the temp power supply for their tents (//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif)

anyways, its one big sheilding with what appears to be 4 runs of 6 guage (each with their own sheilding) inside... i can strip off the outer sheilding and get 4 seperate runs of wire...

i have 75ft of the big wire... so 300ft of 6 gauge total //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif, on to the pics

I remember back in the day when I used to work for the carnival as a welder's apprentice, who was also the shop manager... anyways... he and I decided to "get rid" of all of the wire laying around that was all damaged and we filled up my Blazer (all 45 cubic feet of the back) with copper wire and brought it to the recycling center. We split the price halfway and got $900 each.

Good Ole Copper

I just got laid off from workin at a warehouse where we were recycling copper telephone cable from underground. The **** people be getting arrested for. It was just getting brought in by the tons, literally. yeah copper is going up in price. I smell $$$!
