Just got my wisdom teeh out.

you lucky bastard i hope i'm as fortunate
I had 2 cut and 2 pulled. Same result Soup for a few days
All depends on who you go to, don't skimp on the surgeon, go to someone GOOD. My sister works at a surgical dental office and she recommended who I go to...

DON'T go to big chains like Western dental, they are the worst for the more advance stuff, cleaning and such they work fine though...

I think all of mine but one were cut, lol...I remember having holes and having to clean the food out with a squirting bottle with salt, NASTY //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I remember doing this, sucked. Word of advice, have them knock you out. Its MUCH better. I did 2 while I was awake, and 2 knocked out (different times) got vicodin both times (didnt work) and the time I was awake. Well it looked like a horse had kicked me in the face 2 days later.

After I had my wisdom teeth out, they told me I had a growth in my neck....turned out I had cancer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Thats....not cool.

Ok, well a few hours later, I feel normal, just swollen. I took a couple hydrocodones and they seem to be doing their job well. I don't feel weird or funny, just the pain is really dull. I felt so f'n weird earlier, though, because the whole bottom half of my face was numb.

But yeah, it wasn't so bad. They stick a needle or an iv or something in my arm, and put a mask over my nose, and I was out. They stuck me in a little recovery room for a few minutes to let me wake up, and then let me go on my merry way.

It was funny, though... my mom was driving me home (It's like a 30 minute drive to the place) and the only thing I remember is her talking on the phone, saying "He's out right now" and I just turned over and said "No I'm not!" and then I assume I went back to lalaland.

Here I am directly after the visit, I couldnt feel my face!! i was FUUUUUCCCKED UUUP

I see they gave you the funny hose (aka the whipit tube) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Yeah that thing will knock your *** out quick. I remember it going on my nose, and they dentist told me to count to 10. I think I made it to around 7? Thats when I woke up, and everything was done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I keep putting off getting mine pulled. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I think the bottom ones are starting to mess with my teeth though, which really sucks since I had braces for 2 years.

Just get it done, its not that bad. Just have them knock you out and its pretty quick and you'll be back to normal in less then a week. Usually 3-4 days.

The longer you wait, the longer the recovery is going to be because they'll just dig deeper into your jawbone with time.
