Just got my car...

Well last night me and my family went out for a birthday/valentines dinner thing at a very nice resturant. I was in a normal mood, got a steak, and just kind of went through with the "family dinner" motions. So here comes the check and were all ready to go...

My birthday being FEB. 28 was coming up soon, sweet 16. I have been looking at cars for a while and it was starting to really crack down right now. I was supposed to go with my dad wednesday to look at cars too. So we walk out and my dad goes "here, give this to the valet" obviously the ticket stub. Then realizing that I'm going to drive out with my brother I go "here dad, I'm going with charlie anyway" and handed him back the ticket stub. So were standing there in the freezing cold and boom, here rolls up a 2000 lincoln ls, black, chrome wheels, all wood package. I catch a glimpse of it and tell my dad "thats sweet. I always point these cars out cause I think their awsome. So i just kind of go about my business thinking "oh, another LS, wish I had one". The valet gets out, and my dad goes "go get in", I say "what, shutup", thinking he was joking. My whole family stares at me so I know its for real. I shout, "are you serious!" My dad goes " yup, your driving home!".

AHHH... the best day of my life....

heh, I feel weird telling some people "lincoln ls", cause if they dont say it to my face there going to think "spoiled", lol. But hey, one life to live, live it to the fullest and take every opportunity you can get!

Theres a difference between having your parents buying you a car and being spoiled....spoiled kids talk about how great 'their' car is...blah blah blah...you don't seem like that though. If my parents bought me and LS, ain't no wayI'm turnin the **** thang down.

i just took one of the box i made for it... I just used measurements from people online and it turned out to work pretty good. More pics will be up within the next week or 2 of the HU, amps, subs etc...

Man, that's pretty sweet. I didn't get my car until about 4 months after my 16th birthday. And the only reason i got it is because it was extremely cheap, $125 to be exact. Of course it wasn't in the greatest shape, but i made some improvements.

My first car was a 1989 Mercury Sable. It was a beast, 3.8 v6, had some balls to it. Loved to do neutral drops with it, It was such a beater.

yeh, i see mercury a little lower. They really dont have anything appealing anymore, the marauder is the only flashy thing they have, as where lincolns got there new navi, the aviator, ls.

Mercury is stopping production on virtually everything I thought. The Mountaineer is nice, and the Marauder, thats about it. They are owned by Ford I believe. My 89 Sable was identical to an 89 Taurus, had Ford stock cassete, Ford engine, for everything.

umm..... ill have a sounddomain site up in like 2 weeks, after installation is done. I think my dad got it for 14999 with 53,000 miles.

I got a 2001 Mercury Sable LS with the DOHC V6 motor. That Thing Pretty fast for a 4door car. Now they need to throw in a SHO motor. Those ****ers are pretty fast

I love the look of the taurus and sable. I think there hot looking cars. What do you get 0-60 in it? My lincoln isnt all that fast at all, but thats not what I was going for anyway...
