just got my 860mp in today...doesn't eject!

well the pioneer p860mp i bought off a member came in today...installed it and it powered all good. Tried the eject...faceplate didnt even move. I can hear it trying to open, but it just wont move.

has anybody experienced this? I can't seem to find a way to manually remove the faceplate...

Someone said, and I know it sounds stupid, but just knock the face in a bit (smack it.) He said it happened to him and worked, suggested it to someone, and it worked.. I dont know the properties behind it, but hit that shit.

well i just messed with it as mcuh as i can physically....hit it, pushed it, and pulled it. nothing seems to work...

man u know that same thing happened to me with my deck...too bad hitting it didnt work for u...i really dont know...just keep on trying...something might magically happen..it worked for me

how hard are you hitting it?

i just used 2 fingers and tapped it hard...

YES!! finally got it to work...and not because of the hitting.

found out one of my screws i used to mount the cd player was keeping the motorized gear from moving...=] all is good now!

just remember, if you press the button, you hear the sound but nonthin moves, put yo pimp hand on it while saying i'm rick james bish!!!
