Just got a Rockford 15 for $20

Yeah it's recommended 2.5 with a 4 inch aero 8 inches long but I figured more air space and a slightly lower tuning would help flatten the response.
As stated..the specs are recommendations of what the manufacturer considers..but we all break those recommendations of the norm..You may very well be correct:santa:

At 3 cubes I need a 4 inch aero 8 inches long for a tuning of 32hz.
I think that's what I'm gonna do but can I just use 4 inch PVC pipe?
Sure you can..Ive used several times..Ive always used, cheap too..I usually bottom it out w 1in above, play, and bring it up till I like the sound, mark it,pull it out,cut it,put it back in,and caulk/silicone around it,and shoot some black paint inside it..Works fine/has for me..I dont compete but sounds just fine to me

Brother-in-law has one of these. Uses it for an HT setup. Does a good job there... He's got it in about 3.5 cubes tuned to 28. He's only throwing 50 watts at it. Pretty efficient imo.
