I just got an 06 Impala Gone are the days of the unreliable caddy... Anyway,

I went to get a deck put in the next day, an they told it needs some kind of modulator that costs $120 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/censored.gif.f9ad8e7c6db58c5530c5a0a20a3b5baf.gif wasn't expecting that...

anyway is there any other obstacles I need to know about on my road to "wangerdom"?

any suggestions on interior speakers will be appreciated.

yea those OEM headunits have everything tied into them, the old way they did it was putting the OEM hu in the trunk and i guess used the Radio harness. Or the modulator which tricks the system i beleive

No pics just yet, got it thursday. It's back at the dealership right now getting the remote start put on it (i had to make them give me that since i have the ls:laugh: )

I got my old mtx 8000's that never let me down an the

to power them...

that should be more than enough bass for me

an I got some 18's that i had on my lac i might put on, instead of copping some new 20's.

see my trend... recycling all my old stuff, even though i want the type r's, but selling stuff is just a hassle to me right now.

why did you have a 96' caddy in the first place? its well known that most cadillacs in the ninetys had problems with just about everything. especially the early ninety diesel engines
