Just got a **** good deal on ebay- what box to build?

Just picked up these 2 10s for 61.00 shipped. Nothing too fancy but still not bad at all for the price. Hopefully they are as described, kind of a shady seller but its worth the risk if theyre actually new. Gonna pick up some MDF friday build a box and throw these suckers in it and sell it to a guy for 200$ that told me he wanted 2 decent 10"s for around 400wrms.

Now to the questions:

Do i wanna go ported or sealed with these? Book recommends .5-1.0 sealed per sub. If thats the case ill pick up a 10$ mdf handy panel, cut it into 4 12x24" pieces, throw some sides on it and be done with the box. Thatll get me rougly .8 cu ft net i guess? Ported reccomends 1.5-2.0 ft tuned to 50 hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif That seems like awful high tuning.

Eh, SPL im gonna guess. Will most likely be played on all rap with constant basslines and such.

then go ported, as long as its loud usually people think it sounds good. id say you could make a quick buck, but tell him you had a friend hook you up with those lol, so he thinks your being nice to him. him happy = you happy = another person who owes you a favor.

Im gonna try these out on my crunch 1600 at 1 ohm after im done. Ghetto but id still like it to wang good. Im building a customer base here so id like to build a box to get the most out of these 10s. I know alot of 10s dont get low for shit, but will box tuning affect that? Ive never heard a set of 10s sealed that sounded good below 50 hz or so.

WinISD showed a decent response graph in 1cf each tuned to 45hz, 4" port 13.47" long. Peaked from 50-60hz. I'd speculate that box tuning won't affect the low end as much in car as cabin gain.
