Go to you local pc shop and pick up a old used labtop for really cheap.

Or

drag your desk top out side

or

Get a really long cable

just get a really long ethernet cable. If ur just gonna be metering at ur house, than eventually get a laptop if u plan on meterin else where.

ok i know ppl dont believe me.. .Its not like its a big deal, but i always wanted to order one, and all it took is a few hours at college night at the bar to get me buzzed up enough to actually order one.. And to the few who said i was BS'ing ... Really dont care. i wouldnt post this to make ppl like me douche clits.... So anyways ... Is there a GOOD PC i can buy for around 7-$800 , centrino, that will be good for the next few years? .. Yes this will also be my personal computer as well.. no i do not play games, yes i do alot of downloads, from itunes/ipod, internet /media etc.. Any suggestions.. If u know what ur doing, u can build a really good PC for under $500. Just need to know how to put parts together, got a pretty good comp for my bro for $350. But spent $100 on the vid card alone, since u wont be gaming u can spend that extra $100 on a bigger Hard Drive.

for less then that im sure you can get a duo laptop.... hell, maybe even a duo 2 (if they're out yet). Decent latops aren't that expensive now days
