just curious what would these subwoofers(2 of them) sound like inside an escalade

you'd be very original if you put thoes in............not in a good way!

Nah , I would call it more old school than original . Seen many home and pa cabinets in vehicles . That used to be the way to do things //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm going to look and see is I can find some at a good price. they have ttwo on ebay now for 510 and I can just pick them up he's probably 2 hours from me but I wont have the funds for another week or two. I looked at there measurements and 2 side by sude would fit between the wheel wells of the escalade... I'm gonna try it just for kicks when I get the funds. Anyone close by has a termlab?? LOL

I knew some people put home audio stuff in there car, but never PA stuff. Did you ever hear these cars. If so how did they sound?

i had a friend that had 2 big concert speakers in his van. i think he had like 500rms going to them. holy loud. might not sound the greatest though.

I forgot what site it was but they were some people using home audio seperates and doing active setups in there vehicles and according to them the sound was great.

Loud is about the only compliment I could give them . Sound quality sucked mucho arse. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif When I first started installing in the early 80's . The store I worked at had a room in the back where we threw the pa and home cabinets in if the owner didn't want them any longer . Then once a year we would have a hell of a yard sale on home and PA equipment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I have a pair of original strokers , that I pulled from pa cabinets that were in the back of a conversion van . I asked the guy what he wanted me to do with them . He said trash em' , so I pulled the drivers and trashed the cabinets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
