the pioneer is probably better.

search the term kicker on your local craigslist. everyone has kicker tagged in their amp sales, im sure you can find something.

Although, I saw a head to head done by some car audio mag comparing a 1k Interfire to Crossfire's vr1000d, the VR won doing over rated power of course but the Interfire managed around mid 800's. Just sayin'.

Yeah, it's not a terrible amp, power wise...I'd just be worried about quality of parts/longevity.
