If you're going to go old school...do everything old school. The CV subs are a great start. Maybe ditch the amp and get an old HCCA? A Fosgate Symmetry EQ and one of the old Alpine tape decks that'll run an Ai-net Changer? If you want to keep it more in the mode of the 90's, find an old MiniDisc player that'll run a somewhat modern changer to listen to discs burned with MP3's or use it as an AUX input. An Audio Control Epicenter or Phoenix Gold Bass Cube would round things off nicely. Pick your poison with interior speakers, install it right, take some time to tune it and I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it'll sound amazing. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's not good.
