alright i just bought a dremel 400 xpr or wahtever,... anyway thing works fine but i just took it out of the box and the dust cover or wahtever ontop.. doesnt close all the way.. it stays in place but its not sealed as well as it should be imo.. it doesnt affect the operation at all and a piece of tape would fix it but i just did spend like $80 so i was just curious if this is a common problem? and i know this might not the right forum but i know alot of ppl on here use them

I am not sure if that is how they come from the manufacturer, but maybe it is a defective unit? Maybe take it back and get a different one, if nothing else just to see if another one is the same way.

well thats why im asking if its common, i hate to ***** about something so stupid but the thing wasnt free lol

go back to the store, open up the box and check to see if that one has the same issue, if it does, thats poor engineering, if it doesn't take yours back...
