Just Bought 2 Alpine Type-R SWR-1242D Woofers.. AMp SUGGESTION?

also they are dual 4ohm voice coils so they would be wired to a 2ohm load correct or can you drop 4ohm subs down to a 1ohm load in that case is that amp 1ohm stable

no...dual 4's wire into 1 or 4 ohm....

in this case...that amp is 1 ohm...sooo.....wire it like this...

2 type r's in a tcab box will be loud. i dunno if its bs or not, but the guy that builds tcab boxes says he can hit over 150db with a single sub. i think he is banned though.
