Just applied to a restaurant for a waiter position, do you think i will get it?

I need a job soooo bad so i can help finance the new system for my car. Most of my previous work experience is bartending and being a waiter at another chain restaurant, but i never seem to get any other waiting jobs since these places gets tons of applicants and never pick me. How can I increase my chances of getting an interview instead of sitting here waiting for them to call me? I put down that i graduated college, and have completely open availability right now, i have bartended and been a waiter. I think i have a kick a$$ resume for food places, but no one ever hires me for some reason. What more do they want than someone with completely open availability and waiting experience?

Waiter = barely minimum wage. I would go back to bartending if you can.

bartending is way too hard to get into from nothing. Most places refuse to let you bartend without working your way up from serving, even with my experience. I have waited before and the money is good enough for me at this point in my life. Plus the place i applied to serves lots of alcoholic drinks and is usually busy, which = good tips.

waiters = 4-5.50 + tips. sometimes less.

But no one will hire me knowing i am going out of state in a month, so I needed to "embellish" a bit. I am actually going to be a lawyer, i am going to law school next year.
