what if I was to replace my HEX 6.5 mid range driver with the RE XXX 6.5 driver? I was just wondering how they compared, I was told the xxx's produce better bass...would i be able to use the Hex crossover and all? I like the hex's alot but was wondering how they compared..do the XXX have the same ammount of SQ?

Unless those Hex mids are 2ohm you would not be able to use the passive xover with the XXX mids. And, even if the Hex mids are 2ohm, using the XXX on those passives will not give optimal results.

Same amount of SQ? Depends on who you ask. They have good midbass output...but I've heard mixed results about their tonality and midrange sound quality.
