ok so ive read countless forums and from what i understand RE subs are the shit. my question is in an 05 civic ive got a planet audio big bang 1250.1 is one RE 12" xxx enough for a ground pounding, clean daily driver. Any other suggestions would be great. about how much should i pay retail for one.

i am not positive of those numbers but i remember people talking about picking up a new one for just over 600 and that was a good price.

unless you just have mega cash to burn i would look elsewhere.

might wanna look into the Q. Ive read it could be compared to a xxx, but w/o all its flaws. Needs less power, not such a steep drop off up high etc.

yeah im assuming there is still an RE bandwagon i made the mistake the other day when another forum asked L7 or W7 i said W7 was one of the best subs ive ever heard within minutes there were like ten replies of i was stupid and that RE were the best blah blah blah so been looking at them since now i want one ha ha....

how would you compare the one XXX to two 12" planet audio big bang dual 2 ohm subs which is what i have

not very experienced in different brands due to the fact no one i know in my area has any system worth hearing all CC and best buy stuff they think is the shit

your going to be paying 1000-1300 or so for a 06 12"XXX unless you can talk them down. And you will want more power for a new xxx. I suggest looking elsewhere unless your rich

not retarded just uninformed is all and i wasnt lying its one of the best IVE personally ever heard like i said most people around here only have cc and best buy stuff when i show my planet audio they thinks its the best theyve heard...... decent stuff but i wouldnt compare it to anyones best stuff.
