Clearly you didn't attend. I did. Slamology staff wouldn't let people who weren't competing drive over to the audio compeition side which was about a 1/4 mile away from the car show side. So there wasn't much "crowds" at all other than the people that were in the show because nobody wanted to walk that far. Slamology's reason for this? They said there wasn't enough parking there. I can dig out picutres of about 300-400 parking spots that were unused. It was poor planning on Slamology's behalf. There was also supposed to be crusing lanes for the bagged vehicles in which they never used.Other than word of mouth and one person to have claimed to went to the show. Who else can verify this is true. I have not seen one video of anyone claiming this is true. But i do know several people who went who told be it was complete BS. I have seen the video where JP added the Pentium style decal saying 5 dollar demos inside referring to this rumor. If any one has proof please lets see it if this is true yeah it *****.
As for him not in the lanes? Who cares. Demos bring people to shows. they want to see the systems doing work. Not cooling or charging up for the next round. As a competitor and past show promoter this is what draws crowds. People like JP DO help the dying sport. There are places in this sport for the "demo monster" saying anything else is just stupid. I see alot of hate on the build because he paid to have it done or he did 10 18's and people call it "******" but how many people talking **** have that kind of build?? Not many at all. I used to dislike people like SM or JP but i see now.. they draw in the crowds. They pull the noobies who know nothing about competition formats and just saw a guy playing his monster build and was like "whoa.
