He sent back all the money the last time everyone gave it to him. He must be a very proud person because most would have just kept it. I do hope everything goes well for him and his family.

Also remember he will probably end up paying tax on any money donated through paypal. An address would be idea where we could send a check or even a couple of bucks in cash to bypass the paypal.

I did a toys for tots type program a few years back and raised about 10k, took all my donations through paypal only to find out tax time I had to claim it as income and ended up paying taxes on it.

deliveryboy and k12ug, You should change the post with his email addy and put the word "at" and "dot" in there since it will save him tons of junk e-mail as there are programs that run 24/7 searching for @ and .com/.net et al.

I would also suggest putting in the very first post (k12ug) so ppl do not have to seach through the pages to find the addy. I should also say that a home address would be nice to put I would not post that, maybe have anyone that wants to dontate PM someone and then give it out. I would rather send an envelope with a bill in it wrapped in a paper or card even. hell, i'll even design a card that everyone can print out with a nice saying and then sign it.

It would be kinda tight to create a digital card that allows folks to edit it with photoshop or something so we can add a personal touch. Since it would be digital, no home address would be needed.

just a update for everyone...

i got a pm from jonny and he said that he does not feel right taking gifts and money from people. but does not know what else to do, so he will accept any money or gifts for him. if every one could donate money or something to show how much love is still left in the hateful world, that would be greatly appreciated.

thanks to everyone that is donating....i have never meat this guy before..but i feel so glad that everyone does want to help out a guy that needs help. it shows alot about yourself.

Well, I lost both grandparents last year and my GF' grandma this week. And after reading about the guy that lost his girl and daughter... There is nothing better in a time like this then friends like this.

I made a card up, was going to put caraudio.com but did not know about the legal rights. so, there you have it anyway. I think everyone should download it, sign it with MS paint if you have to and send it his way.
