ya because it's a joke. i went in there when i was 18 or so and i swear i walked into a slave labor sweat shop. you bust your *** in a shit hole, dark, loud, little nook that has a semi backed near it for 4-5 hours straight for $100 bux a week. what a joke, that wouldn't even pay for the gas to drive there. i swear all those package handlers they have working there are retarded or crackheads.

Starting off is tough. You're exactly right. It's hot, dirty, and pretty loud. You do bust your *** and the pay isn't great. Most people there only work there because of the benefits for their family. However there are a few great things about working there:

1) You can get promoted VERY quickly if you know how to work the system.

2) They offer almost completely free health/dental/life insurance after your probationary period.

3) They offer tuition assistance which cannot be beaten by any other company

4) There is unlimited money-making potential in that company if you're willing to put in hard work and a lot of years.

5) If you are not in management you will be in the teamsters union, meaning it's virtually impossible to get fired

I guess you mean the programming languages I know?If so..

HTML, XHTML [which are basically the same thing], XML, CSS, MySQL + PHP

And the ish I don't know, I have a good friend on speed dial who makes 120k a year as a Web Designer. lmao.

Freelancing isn't that easy. Finding jobs is extremely hard. Either the people are asking too little for my caliber, or they're asking too much.

There are a million sites out there to bid on jobs at and I can tell you I **** @ design and I could charge $35/hr and fill a full 8 hours a day if I really put any work into it.

Can you show me some of your work? As I said I **** but I do have some people who may be interested in seeing your portfolio if you have one.

Making $35/hr for sitting in your undies on the computer doing a little design FTW! Only neg to it is no company benefits but you did not mention that so I am assuming that is no biggie.

btw 99designs.com is a good site, I have several freinds making good cake from putting in bids on that site and I don't mean some indian over in pakistan doing it for peanuts. Everyone is sick of outsourced towel heads so you find many more people now than you would 3 years ago because people realize you get what you pay for.

Sadly, most of my jobs were for kids playing CS or the sort. So most of the websites have been taken down.

The only one that I know of that's still up is still bobo because the dude who wanted me to make it was extremely picky and tacky, and even after he fired me he got someone else to do it (outsourced) and they messed with the code just enough to make it look fcked.
