In TX, it is 4 classes if you have certain college credit, 6 classes if you don't. Each class is supposed to be 30 hrs, but there are many correspondence or online courses that don't take nearly as long. Take those, pass the state test, and you are good to go. Every state is different, but I imagine the requirements will be somewhat similar.

Unfortunately, most realtors don't know the shit they should (but if they did, I wouldn't have a job //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ), but then again, they are not the ones doing very well either. Bottom line, with whatever you choose, if you want to make more money, you are going to have to be the best (or better) at what you do.

Yeah by the hour can be the way to go its not always a bad thing. My dad is paid salary for low 6 figures but if he was making hourly what his company charges for his time it could be 200k plus. Plus all the overtime you put in with salary isn't compensated.

a "decent" life is subjective. to me a decent life is being able to do as i wish, in a nice little house that fits me and the family comforatably, has a 2 car garage and a workshop and all the tools I would need to work on my cars. That doesnt happen on 25k. To live comforatable your "lifestyle" shouldnt have to change, thats the whole point of being comforatable.
what you describe is not decent, you describe great. decent is paying your bills on time and having extra money each month. not necessarily able to do everything you want but able to make due.

I do that now, but I don't live by myself, I live with the parents going to school for mechanical engineering and in my opinion "comforatable" IS being able to pay your rent and do the things your family NEEDS plus a few wants, and able to support my hobby. I pay 200 a month, starting to pay half insurance in a few months, and pay all gas for my gas, and have plenty left over.

And no...im not employed as far as a "real" job is concerned, and I don't plan to be unless I fall behind on what I have going right now. I get my money legally, and do as I wish, when I wish.

Women always have it so easy .. Why cant guys just find rich women to pay for everything for once??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif **** golddiggin b!tches

Well, I can't really complain as of now about how im living as my parents just bought two new 2006 fords, had an 04 suburban, i have an 05 mustang and 72 ford f100 and my brother has a 2003.5 mazdaspeed protoge.......were over decent and into "pretty comforatable" we could be better, but my mother is working with my aunt, and not teaching any more. My father makes the money and I honestly think..when he passes away me and my brother will be very well off. He doesnt show his money AT ALL. he makes 80-110 grand a year from what I know, and really, we don't spend a LOT of money yearly, aside from house and car stuff. We go on the occasional trip but were not spewing money out of our assholes, and college is pretty much already payed for and he always says our bank accounts are maturing. I don't know which account it is, be it our school account or what. Pretty much........I can go to any college I can get into, and take what ever courses I feel. Hence the reason im not holding back from taking mechanical engineering for a degree. I believe you can get a bachelors and masters and doctoral....while thats a LOT of schooling, if it interests me so much as to do it...............I plan on getting a doctoral.

I'm training to be an automobile tech for 2yrs.

When I graduate it will be 50k/yr +benfits.

but.... depending on how hard I want to work and such I can eaisly make 80-90k/yr @ 24yrs old. Plus I'll be trained on hybrid and hydrogen cars. So it will probably be even higher.
