Well Ive been still doing some searching after the job at Auto Accessory World didnt work out (me being the installer). The dude said I knew my stuff and would like to hire me but hes not to sure if hes ready to hire someone else, he wants to do a couple improvements to the shop and hireing someone would take away from that section of pay.

SO I prolly just gonna fall back on things I know I can get as a job.

Either going to end up working for Cisco in 2 weeks or Covad (a computer/networking company).

Sorta sucks because I could of used the discounts at AAW to finish off building my Durango all the way.

Anyone work for any big name computer/networkin companys and have any tips for interviews and such?

I think ima wear a full tux for it.

^ yea. At the job I work for, I built the whole interview evaluation program & they look down upon people who are over-prepared/over-learned/over-whatever cause there's no room for them to expand & learn. they want somebody who knows their stuff however, but someone who will tell them if they don't know how to do something; however, stress your ability to learn & acquire experience.

they also look down upon non-humorous people. that's a big thing. one of the options for humor is "dead-eye". It's really (as corny as it sounds) about being yourself when it comes to your personality, don't act like you know everything, but don't act like you "don't know nothin'".

however, we're a small group (about 10 of us). I remember this new girl, when she started, she sported business suits & blazers with the high heels daily. now she's down to jeans & t-shirts...like the rest of us. I [be] wear[in] my ones, some roca wear, ecko, etc...

Casual tuesdays, beer and wings fridays (in the office) and relaxed dress code throughout the week is how it is in cisco systems NC.

Not really... since I know the owner and have talked to him at a couple of "parties" and you would call it. Hes a great guy and if he didnt like you, or didnt want you, TRUST ME you would know.
