K. Heres the deal. It's really the pre-screening "tour" for UPS. I have a white dress shirt (and white undershirt), black slacks, and black dress shoes. Heres where I come into my problem

I'm 250 lbs, 6'0 ... bad enough lol. When I tuck the shirts in, I look even fatter than I am, but I also want to look professional (as in a tucked in shirt). Not really a big deal of a job, but I still would like to make a good impression obviously.

So I'm gonna let you guys decide whether I should go tucked or untucked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I went into a place one time in wife beater. Tattoos were showing Asked if they were hiring. Long story short I got hired. O and this was at wendys...

My last interview for a steel factory I dressed in a collar shirt and jean shorts. While at the interview the guy straight up told me he didn't like how I came in Jean shorts. I got hired anyway though!!

yeah. my buddy got hired like 2 weeks ago... he looked EXACTLY how i look, except like 60 pounds lighter LOL.... so I guess I'll just tuck it and accept that im fat haha

I went on the UPS tour too (ended up working at lowes) I work khakis (boots as required) and a polo and I didnt tuck

6'1 around 190lbs at the time (loosing weight ftw) also Im sure youll lose alot of weight at UPS I think they bust *** (what my friends have told me)

yeah see i asked him and he said they didnt say anything about his shoes........ but i saw that it said strong toed shoes or whatever and when he works he has boots.

if it is that proffessional (i.e. black slacks, white shirt) definately tuck it in.
Dang I'm 6'2 200 and I wanted to lose a little fat.

Puts me in perspective.
yeah i was at 180 lbs (looked kinda bad, i'm built too big that I looked weird at 180lbs) but after probably 20 lbs of muscle and a lot of fat im right back up here lol. i carry it good probably because i do have a lot of muscle, but oh well.

"Proper Footwear consists of a slip resistant, sturdy WORK SHOE in good repair with good support. NO EXCEPTIONS. Wearing the appropriate footwear (work shoes) protects the feet from falling objects and objects that you may bump into as well as provide support to your feet while in the UPS facility. Remember to wear casual slacks or jeans and a sturdy closed-toe shoe in order to tour our facility."

see thats where I keep getting messed up... i have shoes, but they arent work shoes, but they didnt say anything to my buddy when he wore the same exact dress shoes..

dude it ups i work at ups loading trucks in the morning. i went hung over with short sleeve short and nice tan colored pants. not jeans but tan old navy pants. i have a hlaf sleeve on my arm and i got hired. unless you are driving a truck then **** its a warehouse job. and even the drivers are tatted up. but GL and i hope you get the job.
