http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=CW2135&CATID=&keywords=polycone&SPECIAL=&form=KEYWORD&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=well then what driver are you useing so we can verify it as a 6.5
the official dB drag rules limit the frequency to between 20 and 80Hz... I doubt the TL is even accurate much about that anywayWhat gets me is that the outside includes the mounting flange...so it is only the 5.7 whatever on the cone. Now, you limited my peak to 80hz. I am trying to work with you, but I am now having to take money out of pocket.
I have 2 weeks...*sigh* plenty of time to buy a driver, test, and retest //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
But, whatever...I will find something, hell...I might just pick something up from walmart and beat you with that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
That is fine...I'll still beat you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifthe official dB drag rules limit the frequency to between 20 and 80Hz... I doubt the TL is even accurate much about that anyway
the outside diametre of my driver is about 6.5inches... his is 6.95inches... thats not a 6.5inch driver. The cut-out diameter of the Extremis:5.79 inches = 14.7066 centimeters
Multiply by 10 to get millimeters, 147mm.
The cutout diameter of your driver is 145mm, so 2mm difference.
You're just getting scared.

Don't buy a new driver. He is just a misinformed ignoramus. What gets me is that the outside includes the mounting flange...so it is only the 5.7 whatever on the cone. Now, you limited my peak to 80hz. I am trying to work with you, but I am now having to take money out of pocket.

Db drag doesnt do port anything though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifthe official dB drag rules limit the frequency to between 20 and 80Hz... I doubt the TL is even accurate much about that anyway
rules say 6.5inch..Db drag doesnt do port anything though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
And they have nothing to do with this comp...BUT...Ill deal with the 20-80hz range. No problem.
Now, if you truly do not want me to use the extremi, which 6.8 stands for 8ohms that is fine...PLEASE tell me now.
Like I said I am open to the rules.
Fair enough...road gear here I come //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifrules say 6.5inch..
the extremis isn't sold as 6.5inch, nor does it measure 6.5inch, so using it would break the rules...
