There's a little something I like to call wholesale prices so don't tell me I can't get it brand new for that price. I dunno those 1000/1s are pretty inefficient...
my zapco is over 75% efficient and it's A/B

X2 .. Been there done that.. There good solid amps but not for the price and on top of that there so inefficient its not even funny..As a comparison

memphis mc-1000d---12.8 volts at idle..

Not a great comparison but have done many tests on the DMM and the JL amps pull more current than a fat B1tch likes to eat.. ( well at least the slash series )
