i am looking to buy 2 jl w7 13'' i want to max out the subs but i can only find 1000 watt amps what way could i get the 3000 rms thanks

Well w7s are 1.5 ohm subs so youd have to wire at .75 or 1.5 id wire at 1.5 but im sure the sundown could handle the .75 load

Wiring diagrams on the jl site will help you alot. i reccomend the sundown you can get a refurbed for like 650. im off to bed hope i helped out somewhat.

Just get thirty 100W amps and wire them is series. Duh! Don't forget a 30 way D-block. I think 20 gauge wire would do it.

Sundown can go all the way to .25 IIRC. A lot of people run them at .5... It voids the warranty, though.

And OP: JL is not the best for SQ. And matching brands doesn't add any SQ value either. Go with a Sundown, or AQ, or AI amp.
