JL W7 vs eD 13av.2

been doing my homework on both these subs, heard the w7 is louder than the 13av.2 but the av.2 gets way lower than w7... is this true?

Hrm......excellent question. W7 is one hell of a sub. VERY overpriced, but so much technology in that fella.

I'm not sure of the answer (TBO) but i'm in to hear some input.

Be ready for "JL sucks, ED sucks, get sub A". LOL but there are so many great subs out now that get low and handle some pretty good power and sound great doing it.

lol thanks, im really leaning toward the 13av.2 because of its price of course i ran into some forums that said ed sucks and jl is over priced but i dont mind the price.. you get what u pay for

really dont have a goal just wanna be different from everybody in my neighborhood, stock eletrical but i do have 1/0gauge wire already installed in car, i drive a 08 mitsubishi outlander and 100% rap

No, it is not true. Subs are designed to provide you with output at low frequencies. That's their function. If someone says sub A can get "lower" than sub B they don't know what they are talking about. It is all in the box design and install.

Just alot more options in that range if your looking to be "different".

Dub7s are nice, and im sure the ED sub is ok as well, but for the money they ask for the JL, their are other subs out there.

If you want to be different, I'd say Mach5 or Stereo Integrity. It will all be in the install though, as mentioned.

W7's are REALLY impressive.... I have had 1 12" 2 10"'s 1 13" 2 13"'s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif... they are my fav. sub.. and I've used pretty much everything... they have a unique sound that I've never experienced with any other woofer.. kind of an omnipresent all incompassing "rumble".. its pretty nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i was impressed how my 13w7 souned. however, i've never heard anything from Eduh, so i couldnt compair the two.

i run a 13av.2 in my car, and love it.... and ive owned a 10w7 before that, i like the eD much better....
